Peregrine Point
Project #: 4161 – Updated: November 30, 2010
Project Summary
In December of 2006, the Trust acquired its third property, an oceanfront parcel on Neahkahnie Mountain. While it is steep and inaccessible to the public, it provides valuable benefits to wildlife.
The three-acre gem hosts a diversity of native plants, including some old growth Sitka spruce. It is adjacent to Oswald West State Park, extending the natural area’s value.
By holding this property, the Trust assures that it will be protected in perpetuity for conservation.
